Your December update: The app has launched!
Happy December everyone! We are so excited to announce that Halfsies has finally officially launched on the App Store and Google Play - and just in time for the holidays too!
Our Thank You to our Testers
As a big thank you from the team here at Halfsies, all Alpha and Beta testers with active accounts will receive a FREE one year subscription to our Oak Tier! This is our standard plan, and it allows both you and your partner to link up to 4 institutions, along with unlimited bank accounts.
To claim your subscription, simply download our app on your preferred platform, log in with your existing credentials, and continue using Halfsies as usual. That’s it! All of your budgeting data should be right where you left it on the testing version. You and your partner can then manage your subscription and bank accounts from the Household screen.
Our Thank You to the Team
This launch has been the product of many years of tireless work - kicking off with Jade and I in 2022, and slowly integrating our other team members at the beginning of 2025. Their work and dedication in just the past year has proven relentless as they’ve pulled all-nighters, consistently hit deadlines, and advocated for our users every step of the way.
That’s why we were thrilled to be able to gather everyone this Thanksgiving for some much deserved relaxation at the Oregon Coast. After unwinding with some board games, cozy drinks, and some very intense hot sauce challenges - the team is fresh-faced and ready to hit the pavement heading into 2026.
Our Plans for 2026
We still have many exciting ambitions to come for Halfsies. Our goal next year is to gather feedback, refine, refine, refine, and land our first 1000 users. We’ve also got a few (very large) new features in the plans including credit card integration and a web version of our app.
Though I (Leah) will be away on maternity leave the beginning of 2026, you will be in good hands and will get the opportunity to hear from the rest of the Halfsies crew in upcoming newsletters. So stay subscribed if you’d like to be informed of Halfsies related news, updates, and promotions! ( And if you could spread the word to some friends and family this holiday season, it would be much appreciated :) )
