Halfsies Newsletter #8

Hello everyone, and a Happy New Year from the Halfsies Team! As you can probably tell, this month’s newsletter (and the next few months’ newsletters) will not be from Leah. The reason for her absence, which I am super excited and happy to announce, is that Leah and Jade are taking parental leave to celebrate the birth of their first son! So, for the time being, I will be stepping in to update you all on all things Halfsies while Leah is away.

Regarding Halfsies, if you were too busy dealing with the chaos of the holidays (which is totally understandable), then you might have missed that we have officially launched! You can now find the app on both iOS and Android. As a treat from us, anyone who tries Halfsies before February 1st can try their first 3 months free (Oak Tier) using promo code “NEWYEARS2026”.

As for what our team has planned for our first full year post-launch, let me tell you! During the first few months of 2026, while part of our team is out, we plan to listen to your feedback and gauge what our post-launch roadmap should look like. But do not worry, we do have a couple of features in progress for you all to try later this year, one of which is the long-awaited (and our current priority) credit card integration!

As one final bit, I wanted to thank all of you for joining us through our Alpha and Beta phases and providing invaluable insight! Because of your feedback, we were able to identify many bugs and implement many quality-of-life features.
