Halfsies Newsletter #6

Hey everyone! We hope you’re enjoying the Fall weather and having a super spook-tastic October! The holidays are just around the corner and it’s been great to hear about how all of you are already using Halfsies to set aside money and prepare!

The team has been hard at work making improvements to Halfsies and getting ready for our final Beta test before launch. As of now, we’re on track to release Beta at the end of this October - which will run for a full month before launch. And after that, we’re still optimistic about releasing to the broader public in late fall!

If you’re curious, here’s all the things we’re working on this month:

Campaigning for new beta testers

Right now our top priority is landing more Beta Testers, which Kelly has been campaigning hard for on Instagram. If you know anyone who needs a hand with budgeting - send them over to us at Halfsiesbudgeting.com.

There are still plenty of Beta tester spots open, and all active participants will receive one year FREE post launch.

Implementing an easier way to give feedback

We’re going need as much feedback as possible between now and Launch. We hope that by providing a pathway to report issues in-app, we can make that as easy as possible for you!

Knowledge Base Updates

The tutorials and help docs are quite a bit outdated by this point. Leah is hard at work rewriting and restructuring our help docs so they are relevant and easy to peruse!

We’ve seen some really huge improvements to usability and functionality within our little budgeting tool, thanks to your help. And it has been so exciting for us to hear how much it’s helped you track and manage your daily spending. We cannot wait to put Halfsies into even more hands.
